Scuba Diving
Welcome to my scuba diving page! I am quite an avid diver, and I have been known to take a quick dive before classes in my medical school. (Floating along the current underwater is a great stress reliever — or maybe it's just the nitrogen narcosis) 
I am currently certified by PADI (Professional Association of Dive Instructors) to the Rescue Diver level. I also have additional certification in Nitrox. This is a breathing gas enriched with up to 40% oxygen, (compared with 21% oxygen found in normal compressed air) which allows longer dives. Some day I hope to complete either Divemaster or Master Scuba Diver ratings.

First Stage/Regulator: Oceanic Alpha
Mask: US Divers Genesis with corrective lenses (helps to see)
Fins: Mares Avanti Quattro — Lost in Hurricane Ivan
Dive Computer: Suunto Cobra Nitrox Air-Integrated Dive Computer
